WDS 2003, Groupe X : trois lévriers d'origine anglaise en tête !

Le grand vainqueur, Jet´s Something Tn The Way U Smile, vient de chez un grand nom du monde du Lévrier, le Norvégien Espen Engh, secrétaire du Norsk Greyhound Klubb et juge spécialiste des Lévriers. Il élève la race depuis 1975 mais a fait l’acquisition de son premier Lévrier en 1966 (il n’avait que 4 ans à l’époque ! ).

Son suivant, la femelle Double Dutch Dynamite of Dirty Mind sort d’un élevage connu des internautes d’Aniwa puisqu’il s’agit de la sélection néerlandaise Of Dirty Mind qui s’était imposée lors du Mondial des Lévriers 2002 en Belgique avec la femelle Cobby Chloé (voir le reportage réalisé par Karl Donvil). Précisons que Cobby Chloé était à Dortmund où elle a terminé V1 (1er Excellent en classe ouverte) mais s’est fait battre par Double Dutch…

L’imposant troisième de ce groupe, Arannwood Viking est un géant au sens littéral du terme. C’est un Lévrier Irlandais d’élevage américain impressionnant dans ses lignes, sa construction et sa taille. Il est connu des spécialistes, suite à sa victoire en début d’année au Westminster Kennel Club Show (Best of Breed). Son père sort de l’élevage allemand de Jurgen Papenfuss (Von Der Oelmühle Kennel).

Les résultats sont ceux fournis par les organisateurs du World Dog Show à ce jour. Nous espérons qu’ils seront complétés rapidement.
