The answer is: a one-inch tall pocket animal. There are ten Micro pets, and don’t worry, they’re in plastic. They’re not made to replace an animal, but children are really crazy about them.
The Micro pets work thanks to two batteries in their back, and they move thanks to an on/off button on their heads.
Each Micro Pet reacts according to its own language and mood, to the sounds, the voices or the name you’ve given it. It can also recognise other Micro Pets, towards which it adopts various attitudes. MicroPets work together and play together, responding to each other's voices, singing, playing, even getting upset when they're left out. Among the ten pets, you can choose between two nice dogs, two amazed cats, two shy bears, and two dragons and monsters, for the less friendly of them.
From Japan, of course, where 85,000 were sold on their first week in the stores in Tokyo. The British children have also fallen for these new toys, the sales are booming all over Great Britain.
