It was Eukanuba’s turn to launch its range of products for large size dogs. The Labradors, Dobermans, Boxers or Dalmatians are among the breeds concerned.
This range is made of four different products adapted to the age and activity of the dog, from puppy to senior, and “light” for adults.
Large breeds have a slower growth than other breeds. They are mature much later, between 2 and ½ and 3, against 1 year for a Yorkshire Terrier, for instance. On the other hand, they reach their adult weight around 1 ½ year, whereas their skeleton is not finished yet. The large breed puppy must therefore absolutely not suffer from overweight during its growth, as this could cause unalterable damage to its bones, articulations and stances. In old dogs, old age begins quite early. And there again, bones and articulations will suffer if the alimentation is not balanced.
Eukanuba has directed their efforts on this weak point. This new range contributes to the proper functioning of the articulations and skeletal development.
