Following the Administrative Board meeting of April 3, 2006, Mr Gérard Destal offered his resignation as President of the LOOF, the French Official Book of Feline Origins.
His resignation was unanimously accepted by the administrators, minus one vote. In accordance with the bylaws, Vice President Mrs Arelli will take the role of president.
For personal reasons, Mrs Arelli discharged her duties to Mr Patrick Leterrier, the current secretary of the federation, who will be the temporary president till June 10, the day of the extraordinary General Assembly, when the new president will be elected.
The ordinary general assembly of April 8 is maintained.
