More than 80 dog breeds will be shown, among which Boxers, West Highland White Terriers, French and English Bulldogs. A good opportunity for the visitors to ask the breeders all their questions concerning their future companion, and to see rare breeds such as the Neapolitan Mastiff. On the cat side, the Paris Cat Club will show 600 hundreds cats for a beauty exhibition. From the hairless cats to the curly Devon rex and the tailless cat, the Bobtail, you’ll be able to observe the great diversity of the feline breeds and fall in love for their charms. There will also be around 300 exotic birds, which will take part in the French Championship. The Exotic Club will explain their actions against capturing animals in the wild, and in favour of reproduction in captivity in the case of rare or endangered species.
There will be a zone reserved to the New Company Animals, where there will be ferrets, rats, gerbils, mice, serpents, spiders, lizards, chameleons, iguanas, etc. Some of these animals require specific care according to their physiology, so don not hesitate to ask your questions to the specialists.
There you’ll be able to learn more about those animals thanks to the presence of veterinarians, breeders, trainers, all the professionals from the animal world. They will gladly advise you about living with a pet, how to care about its food, its education, its identification, etc. Outside of the halls, events and demonstrations will take place during the two days: thanks to demonstrations in agility, fly ball, obedience and working, the complicity between man and dog will be highlighted. Both the children and their parents enjoy this kind of show, and what’s more, they help the owners to develop their relationship with their pets.
