Mortality and morbidity in many viral infections have much declined over the years thanks to the introduction of new vaccines. Nevertheless, this positive trend caused the appearance of a new risk: the one of systematic recourse to vaccination in a breeding environment wrongly leading the breeder to get slacker as regards the enforcement of health measures.
It is therefore very important to repeat here that, in any feline population, the implementation of vaccinations must be coupled with the indispensable maintaining of sanitary prophylaxis rules.
