Here are the three best dogs of the World Dog Show 2005. The Best In Show was awarded to an Argentinean Lhasa Apso, in front of an Argentinean Bearded Collie et a Spanish Afghan Hound.
1) The Lhasa Apso / FCA / 1043 - HOMERO DEL ALCAZAR (Sire: LYNNLAINE'S CARP SHARK - Dam: FEDERICA DEL ALCAZAR). This dog belongs to Julio A. Porcel et Jose Antonio Porcel, and he was handled by Debora Desancio. Homero owns a truly impressive list of achievements, with such titles as Argentinean Grand Champion, Uruguay Champion, Latin America Champion. On May 17, he had already won 6 Best In Shows, and he was ranked 14th Best Lhasa Apso by the American Kennel Club. Besides, he was best Lhasa Apso in Argentina in 2001 and 2002, as well as 9th best dog of the Group 9 in his country in 2001.
2) The Bearded Collie / FCA / 358 - NAPOLEON DE UN REBANO ESCOCES (Sire : Ranmar Ripe Blueberry – Dam : Diotima Bear Necessity). This dog belongs to Bruno Magnasco, kennel Rebano Escoces. Napoleon is Argentinean Grand Champion, Latin America Champion, and winner of the Eukanuba Cup Argentina 2004. He also was best young Bearded Collie in 2003 and best adult in 2004. Thanks to his several Group and Best In Show victories in 2004, he had finished 5th best dog All Breed in Argentina last year.
3) The Afghan Hound/ LOE / 1377717 - KHAFKA'S EXOTIC SPICE (Sire : Khafka's Song Sung Blue – Dam : Jacosta Hot N' Spicy). Exotic Spice, nicknamed « Pablo », was bred by Philippe Gallardo & Felix Duque, and he belongs to Misters Gallardo-Duque-Coton. Pablo won several breed and Group victories throughout Europe, as well as the Best in Show in Douai (.)
