The French Retrievers National Specialty was organized on september 13th by the Retriever Club de France in Sully sur Loire. There were 699 dogs registred ( against 621 in 2007 and 543 en 2006). Find them in this exceptional report of more than 1000 photos.
The six retrievers breeds were represented in this 2008 national specialty with quite 10% more dogs than the previous year. So, 299 Labrador were registered ( against 266 in 2007 and 234 in 2006 ), 287 Golden ( 266 in 2007 and 235 in 2006 ), 78 Flat Coated ( 73 in 2007 and 61 in 2006 ), 10 Curly Coated ( 1 in 2007 et 3 in 2006 ) and 9 Duck Tolling Nova Scotia ( 9 in 2007 and 4 in 2006 ), and 6 Cheasapeake Bay (same figure in 2006 and 2005).
