The best European breeders had turned up for the 2003 edition of the Boxer Klub Championship Show. Judge and breeder Bernard Kafka kindly realised this report for Aniwa.
272 dogs had been entered for this national show! After the decrease in the number of entries observed in the last 2 years – following the legislation on cropped ears and docked tails – this year’s show marked a regain of interest of the exhibitors: indeed, the number of dogs entered was again on the rise, just like the foreign participation. One could also notice a general improvement of the dogs exhibited, with some really fine individuals.
As one can expect from a dog show in Germany, this exhibition was perfectly organised, with large rings for the dogs to express themselves at their best.
