It’s not every day that a French-bred dog wins the title of Top Dog in Sweden, so here is a report dedicated to Théo du Val D’Europe.
In Sweden, ears cropping and tail docking has been forbidden for many years. Yet contrary to what’s happening in Germany, dogs with cropped ears and docked tails can still be exhibited. And what’s more, successfully! Such is the case of the young brindle dog, Théo du Val d’Europe (Elio, son of Perico x Pia du Val d’Europe, daughter of Itec de Talisco). Born at François Médioni’s, Théo was sold to the famous Swedish kennel Sensato’s, which can boast of over 20 years of Boxer selection. The kennel was founded by Ulla Bengtzon. After a promising starting career in France and Belgium, Théo stood out in Sweden by winning at the end of 2003 the title of Peggy Ceder Vinnare 2003. He also made the cover of the magazine of the Swedish Boxer Club, Boxer Bladet. A quite extraordinary performance for a foreign dog, who isn’t three yet.
Théo, at the age of one.
An Italian-bred father, a French-bred mother, and an outstanding Scandinavian career: let’s keep an eye on Théo for the future!
