Education And Personality

Text Yann Stevens and Emmanuel Pacitto - Pictures Warner Bros

The Scooby-Doo Great Dane is THE most peace-loving of all mastiffs. He is a gentle, tender, kind, sensitive, and affectionate dog, if a little obsessed with Scooby Snacks…

Oh yes, and it could be said that he is not the most courageous dog in the whole wide world. Well, ok, to put it bluntly, he’s a coward. But hey, who’s perfect these days? Not me, and not you either, that’s for sure, because that’s one reason why Scooby is loved by so many: he is just like we are, just so human, so people of all ages identify with him.
He is alert, and very wary of strangers indeed…especially if they are ghosts or monsters of some sort! His formidable size should be enough to dissuade almost anyone, but let’s face it, it just isn’t! A creak in the floorboards of a haunted house and he’ll be in your arms in no time! He’ll run and hide, but don’t count on him to defend you!

Education And PersonalityYou shouldn’t really feed him Scooby Snacks too often, especially since no-one really knows what on earth they are made of, but I guess that if you don’t he’ll feel sad, and we wouldn’t want that, now would we? He’s just so loveable…
Training is not really necessary, or should I say it’s just a waste of time! You won’t change him, whatever you do, and why would you want to, eh? Isn’t he just great the way he is? After all, have you heard of many dogs that are masters of disguise, that can talk (even a little bit) and that are as good at making sandwiches as Scooby??
