- Symptoms: no particular predisposition. Sudden onset of general and cutaneous symptoms (fever, anorexia, physical exhaustion). Skin covered with vesicular and bulbous lesions, turning into ulcers. Often affects the mucous membrane of the mouth, junctures of cutaneous tissue and mucus membranes and footpads. The lesions are painful but not pruritic. Etiology is not fully understood.
- Treatment: identify the cause. The disease resembles an extensive second-degree burn. Prognosis is guarded.
