With almost 3 300 dogs, this 8th editon of the famous Paris Dog Show, took place the first week-end of january, in the north of Paris, at the Le Bourget exhibition center.
This day, the Groups II, III, VI, VII et VIII were in the rings. The Dogo Argentino with 43 entries was a “special”, like many other breeds of his FCI Group (Dogue de Bordeaux (44 entries), Great Dane (91), Dobermann (49), Boxer (54).
Best of Dogues Argentins at the PARIS DOG SHOW 2008
The ring was big enough to see and judge each dog in motion. The big winner of the day was the dog Vargas des Anges Gardiens de la Mi Sud (Wainarunalindo x Playa Mabiana Cazador Del Pampa) born in the kennel of François Dal Piaz et Odile Meunier but owned by Ghislaine Renoud-Grappin (Vaucluse).
We must remember that january 2008 is very special for the breed : 50 years ago, the first dogo was registred in the FCA stud book. It was the famous Kob de las Pampas born the 15th of january1958, a stud very popular and widely used in the Del Chubut kennel.
