No matter what technique is used for mating or insemination, the following conditions must be met if the litter is to be registered by the Société Centrale Canine (Central Canine Society) in the Livre des Origines Français (French Stud Book):-The two parents themselves must both have been finally registered in the Livre des Origines Français after their confirmation examination (registration evidenced by pedigree),-The bitch's owner must have sent the certification of service to the SCC within four weeks after mating or insemination.
