The tattoo and vaccination records are both essential, and will contain proof of vaccinations against rabies, typhus, and Feline respiratory disease complex. It is suggested that Cats also be vaccinated against Feline leukemia. The veterinarian makes sure the animal is free of any skin disease (ear mange, ringworm) and that the eyes, nose, and hindquarters are clean.
