Show Items

The day of the show, you will need a certain number of accessories that you should prepare carefully in advance. At shows, cats are placed in empty cages that you can decorate with curtains to complement your cat's coat color and breed. Most clubs provide the measurements of their cages, allowing you to create custom curtains or buy them at a show. If you are serious, you will surely invest in your own cage. Plexiglas cages are perfectly suited and have the advantage of being more sanitary and of better aesthetic quality than traditional cages. These cages have see-through walls that allow your cats to be seen clearly but also protected. For inside the cage, plan to have a cloth pillow and a small rug to make your cats comfortable.

Also provide a small bowl for drinking water. While food may not be necessary for one afternoon, cats can become thirsty in show halls that are often overheated. You can also bring a small box and litter to offer to your cat inside his cage once in a while. Also, remember to take paper towels and trash bags, which are always useful. With regard to grooming, if your cat has been properly prepared, you will not have much to do during the show. Just in case, take your tools with you for touch-ups: metal comb, cotton swabs for overproductive tear ducts, chamois cloth.Think of yourself, too. Plan to wear something elegant but comfortable. Your cat is beautiful, so show it off!
