Best of ADRK Klubsieger Zuchtschau 2008 the first day

For this 38th edition of his National specialty show, the ADRK decide to change and for the first time since Rottweil in 1971, Duisburg was the place to be the 16th and the 17th of august. At the doors of Düsseldorf (Nordrhein-Westfalen)under the eyes of a great duo Paul Dieter Viehoff (head of the local group of the ADRK) and Eric Joseph (breeder under the kennel name Vom Cassanova).

This area is wellknown for many fanciers. In 2004, the KS took place in Düsseldorf (401 entries) where the fantastic Oxana V Hause Neubrand became KS and best Rottweiler of the Klub Schau !

In Duisburg this year, except the Centenary Show of 2007 with the historic record of 628 entries from 33 countries, the entries were the greatest since Rottweil in 1971 with 455 dogs in the catalogue : 221 on saturday and 234 on sunday.

From the 221 entries of the first day, only 40 were from Germany !!!

The jury was 100% german formed by MM Edgar Hellmann – heading the breeding comitee of the ADRK (Hauptzuchtwart), Werner Walter (initialy Hans Jürgen Radtke was invited but he resigned), Uwe Petermann and Frank Hedtke.

Saturday morning. The sky is quite blue and it's the day of six classes : the 6/9 month (11 females and 10 dogs), the "young guns" 9/18 month (53 dogs and 79 females) and the young adults (Intermediate classes with 26 dogs and 42 females registred).

In the 6/9 dogs, judged by Edgar Hellmann, from the 11 entries, just 4 came in the ring for the examination. All of them took the highest qualification VSP.

In the 6/9 females with Werner Walter (V Kressbach Kennel), three of them took the VSP from the eight in the ring. I have to mention the very attractive Akira of Silver Fild .

In the 9/18 classes, the job is a little bit more difficult for one major reason : the difference between a rottweiler of 9 month old and another competitor of almost One year and half bring a difficult task for a judge... Why the ADRK don't want to split this class with in one hand, a 9/12 and the other one, a 12/18 month. It's just a question, why not? It should be fair for both... dogs and breeders...

Bravo to the Neubrand Family with the brother and sister V1 Reni V Hause Neubrand (KJS and V1), a real clone of a mother Oxana, V1 in the largest class of the show (78 entries) . Her brother, Raoul V Hause Neubrand, not the same type and expression of his sister, win the class where we saw a lot of "future greats" like the young italian Indios Dell Antico Guerriero or the danish, Arzadons Larimbo, that his breeder think better than his fantastic father, Arzadon's Tayson.

For the title, Raoul was in front a wellknown young adult, Pummel V Kalenborn, winner of the intermediate class : Pummel took the title of KJS.

We must say few word about the second dog in the intermediate class, Burning des Princes d'Aragone, from France, son of the KS 2007 Ben : in motion, he was the one... but not for the judge. He became foreign KJS, the best result for a french dog during the two days show.

Bravo to the Earl Antonius Kennel for the double in the intermediate class female with two Yoy Von Der Crossener Ranch (Champion ADRK étranger en 2007) daughters, Chippsy and Toxi.

A good day for the french team, with three other dogs selected in the best group of their class, the bitch Creole aus dem Land der Musketiere V (youth class), Bingo von Quellen der Deome V (intermediate class) and Badie Doll aus dem Land der Musketiere (intermediate class).

Hat off with Reni V Hause Neubrand, with Oxana, her mother - the best progeny result of the two days - and her father, the KS Djuke V Vilstaler Land, gone for a new carreer in USA at the kennel Von Evman (Florida).

For this first day, we must mention the bloodlines - studs - with very good results : Henry VD Hassberghohen (Akino), Mambo VD Crossener Ranch (the best branch of the Rick Burgthann line) and Jumbo V Kummelsee (Balou Silberblick), a very big and powerfull dog, father of many winners (remember the KS 2007, Valeria V Kressbach. On sunday, those three studs were again, in the "cards".
