The Cat Fancier’s Association – which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year – has just published the statistics of its feline book for the year 2006. This book – the largest in the world – gives the general trend of the feline purebred population in the United States.
Here is the ranking of the year 2005 of the most popular breeds on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. This ranking is based on the registrations realised between the 1st of January 2005 and the 31st of December 2005 by the genealogic services of the CFA, the largest feline federation in the world.
