In the warmth of our homes, with their eyes half-closed as we pet them, one can be tempted to forget that cats are real little fauves with keen senses.
If hunting on the carpet doesn’t require cats to use these senses quite so much, a cat’s sense of vision, hearing, taste, smell and touch are absolute masterpieces. This means that cats are particularly good at communicating, and are consequently very apt at living with humans.
