Here is the portrait of true star. Norwegian, born on February 24, 2000 in Germany, from Danish parents. That’s it for her ID. Then she showed very early a strong character with great dispositions for exhibitions. Her breeder introduces us to EC Maneskinn’s Lenja.
This black tabby mackerel and white female is very imposing. In the winter, her long and opulent fur still underlines her big size.
In the summer time however, one can hardly recognise her. She simply can not be exhibited, as she loses so much of her fur. One can then only but wait for the end of October, while looking at the pictures of the previous year. By November, we know she will don again her Nordic princess garments. Her show career in the junior class, from 3 to 9 months was ok, but as it is often the case with large cats, she still lacked homogeneity to be on the highest step of the podium. But around 10 months, the duckling turned into a wonderful swan… and her career became truly extraordinary.
Her list of achievements is remarkable under many respects. Indeed, not only did she become FIFé World Champion without ever missing a point – a real feat in her colour category – but she also accumulated, in the two years time of her FIFé and Independents career, 50 Best of Variety and 37 Best In Show. And if you add to the list 12 Best of Best, and two Best Supreme, that’s her score until now. She got her titles all around Europe, and sometimes at exceptional exhibitions, such as Augsburg Worldshow, where she obtained her most beautiful BIV, against 27 other cats.
There are two main reasons to her success: first of her all, her look. She’s exceptionally big for a female, and she correspond almost perfectly to the standard – if only her ears had been slightly bigger! And then there is her character. She is a true “performer”, and she owes her successful career possibly even more to her temperament than to her look. She loves being admired, and she can stay 15 minutes if need be, without moving, until the last judge has made up his/her mind. She then carries her head proudly, and you can see in her eyes that she knows who deserves to win. Yet for a breeder, what would all those qualities be, without good breeding qualities? She had two litters in two years with two different males, which produced 9 kittens. Everything happened all right, from the whelping to the lactation, she has excellent motherly qualities. Her kittens are now all around Europe, and have began in turn their show careers. They have already been well noticed a few times, but we’ll have to still wait a lille, until they actually get their adult size. By then we’ll be able to judge the results in term of breeding, and what she has brought to the breed.
